I had a business meeting here and loved everything about it! Service was excellent, people are friendly, it is VERY clean, LOTS of sweet tooth options. I brought home 2 cupcakes and a piece of bread pudding amd everyone enjoyed them! While I do not live in New Haven, I would definitely take the 20 minute drive to get some sweets, have a cup or coffee....

Extremely friendly service, pleasant, relaxed atmosphere, and absolutely delicious baked goods. They have a great variety of cupcakes, desserts, and pastries, and many options for special diets. Try to leave with out trying something-- everything looks and smells so good, it's impossible! The coffee was delicious, too.

This was my daughter's first birthday living out of state - and her 21st on top of that. Also, I had created a cake for her as a toddler and had made it every year for her. She was so sad this would be her first year without HER cake. So, I reached out to Katalina's and went through the recipe/concept and surprised my girl with the cake she's always had! She said it was spot-on and beautiful! This truly made her day!

Guilty pleasure. Great cupcakes and other amazing baked goods! I don’t usually drink coffee but I’m always tempted to do so here (Stumptown coffee), but even if you don’t drink coffee, they have great tea options as well. The owner and all the staff are super friendly and makes you feel at home. It’s what dessert place should be.

Absolute must if you are looking for GF or vegan treats! Visiting my (vegan) parents, and I'm GF, so dessert options are typically limited - Selection here was great, products were delicious and fresh, and the person working here was incredibly sweet and helpful! Will definitely spread the word!! :)

I'm a Katalina's regular! They have wonderful vegan cupcakes/brownies and the owner and employees are even sweeter than their treats. Great place to meet with friends, do a little work, or just stop by for a latte and quick pick-me-up.

Absolutely the best bakery and cafe in the area. If you want excellent baked goods and coffee, come here. The owner is committed to the growth and development of young kids and core community values. The company and the treats make me and my colleagues come back! My kids love it - community service for all!

I highly recommend Katalina's Bakery. Amazing freshly baked goods, delicious coffee and exemplary customer service. The owner even took the time to talk to me. She is as sweet as her wonderful treats. I look forward to coming back!

Somewhat of a frequent flyer here. Impressive spread of choices; cookies, to quiche, to vegan options. Tragedy in a cup speciality coffee is delicious. Its smoky, smells sweet prior to is hitting your lips and always leaves you wanting more of it. House made poptarts are incredible, I went back the next day and bought the rest of them to take home. Staff is knowledgeable, personable, and very easy to get along with.
